Ride

Desperate to raise money for his daughter’s cancer treatment, a retired bull rider teams up with his estranged son and resorts to robbery to secure payment before time runs out. But after the heist goes awry, keeping the money—and their freedom—requires the duo to outwit a dogged pair of local law enforcement officers, including a justice-minded sheriff who soon suspects that the key to her case may lie uncomfortably close to home.

Bronze contemplatively brings viewers through the course of a fateful 12 hours in the lives of three teenage girls. Slowing creeping towards tragedy, viewers are forced to analyze and rationalize an uncomfortable judgment: were they “asking for it?" Feminist questions about consent, responsibility, victim accountability, and the often skewed media representation of sexual violence are raised as these girls leave their suburban NJ home for a night out.

Set within the fluidity of time, touch, realism and reverie. Some may call this magic realism. Based within Indigenous knowledge and way of life, this story allows two people to heal, through touch, calm, love and patience in a fantastical space that leaves the audience dreamlike and yet it is dangerous and violent, there is love.

Naitai, the evil head of the Great Bear God religion, hatches a plot to destroy the 108 Dragons. His henchman, Oshu Togoku, the world wrestling champion, squeezes Ron Tayan unconscious in a match; the ambulance taking Ron to hospital is actually driven by Kimie, one of Ron's old enemies. She takes him to Naitai's stronghold where he has prepared a clone of Ron whom he intends to send, like a Trojan horse, onto the yacht of the 108 Dragons. Can Ron foil the plot? Will Fu recognize the clone or be fooled? What of Oshu Togoku, can anyone defeat him? And who, or what, can stand up to Naitai's sorcery?

Stella Runs for Office

Stella and Salomon run a business together, framkoma.is. Salomon is hired by Anton Skúlason, pilot, to beautify and transform a village, that he owns. Stella stays in the town and starts teaching politicians how to act for the coming elections. By accident Stella gets involved with the Centrum party, the main rival of the Central party, and before she knows it she's head over heals in politics.

Usha (Zarina Wahab) comes to her sister's house for relief from a terrible tragedy of her life which is the accidental death of her lover Ravi played by Shankar. In the new place, she meets Ramankutty, played by Nedumudi Venu, who is the friend of Vasu Menon (Bharath Gopi), husband of her sister. Their friendship eventually turns into love, but Ramankutty's mother does not allow this proposal. Usha slowly realizes that Vasu Menon's feelings for her are wayward, but she does not tell her sister as she fears that this will ruin their family. So Usha decides to go back to her home, on the way she meets Ramankutty, who has convinced his mother about marrying Usha.
