Da Co Hoai Lang is a sad story happened in the course of 1 day. Ong Tu (Hoai Linh) escaped from the nursing home to go home and celebrate his wife's death anniversary. The granddaughter at home is not happy with this. Ong Nam is Ong Tu's friend, who came over, and they talk about how they grew up together, loved the same girl and now met each other on a foreign land. They both celebrate their first love's death anniversary. Because of the gap in generation and the difference in culture, Ong Tu and Tammy (his granddaughter) got into a fight. Ong Tu and Ong Nam left the house and goes into the snow storm to find comfort else where.

Forest

Three screens display how the day’s light passes by: from the early morning light until late at night. Along with the woman the artist walks through the forest, in the same rhythm, the same pace. Off-screen she looks through the camera, fragmenting time. The age-old androgynous trees are a vertical constant along which the woman moves, as if in an interval between visibility and invisibility, between sound and silence, while the light keeps on evolving metabletically.

Inferno

A series of small debts triggers the swift domino effect that unleashes chaos on a well-meaning working class dad who has the bad judgment to speak truth to power.

The Return

This short movie that is maybe not a documentary is made by the filmmaker in memory of the extrajudicial killing of young Lahu activist Chaiyapoom PASAE. She knew the young Lahu boy through a workshop she gave some years before he was killed. A tribute to a young aspiring filmmaker and his Lahu language and culture.

This combination of perception and memory suggests a deep reconciliation and allows tender feelings of a mother’s love to emerge.
