When he loses all of the money, he and his friend get help from a young woman who tells the man the story of some special stones that are part of a legend involving time travel and parallel universes. When the trio get in a car accident, the young gambler is the only survivor. Pursued by a female detective, the two accidentally end up back in time on Christmas Day, where the gambler decides to make the wrong things right, and he also ends up falling in love with the detective.

4 hectares of ground are the gardens that surround the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon. Throughout one year João Vladimiro’s camera follows the work of landscape architect Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles, commissioned by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. “I know that the trees don’t have eyes, that the water doesn’t have a mouth, and that stones don’t have ears. Still, we communicate. In this particular garden, long mute talks take place, like the two elders that, through their sheer presence, talk to each other about calmness, comfort and sadness.”, says director Vladimiro, whose patient camera eye pays attention to the smallest events.

Finding

While searching for his lost ball in the park, a kid finds a doll. Delighted by his find, he keeps the toy for himself. Soon he discovers that playing with a doll comes with stigma and a social price. However, this is also the beginning of experiencing unconditional love, protection, support, and most importantly, finding himself.
