Anna Netrebko as the beautiful and wealthy Adina leads the cast in Barlett Sher’s production of Donizetti’s charming comedy, first seen on Opening Night of the Met’s 2012–13 season. Matthew Polenzani is Nemorino, the poor but good-hearted country boy who wins her love—with the help of the magic “elixir” sold by the quack Dulcamara, played by Ambrogio Maestri. Mariusz Kwiecien is the swaggering Sergeant Belcore and Maurizio Benini conducts.

By the late 50s, camera equipment was affordable and readily available, so amateur "Blue" movies were produced in abundance. This collection turns up the "raunch" factor considerably. The camera lingers on the naked bodies, slowly covering every square inch of fleshy real estate. Bizarre camera angles abound as well as unbelievable close-ups where a crotch or a nipple fills the entire screen. Obviously, there is never a shortage of beautiful models prepared to go before the cameras and leave absolutely nothing to the imagination!

That band, Cream, featured the legendary Eric Clapton (aka "Slowhand") on lead guitar, the great drummer Ginger Baker (also of the classic rock band Blind Faith), and lead singer-bassist Jack Bruce in a trio that made some of the most amazing rock songs of the Sixties.
