How to Be Loved

An actress travels from Warsaw to Paris and during the trip reflects on the last few years of her life. It goes back to the German occupation and her hiding of a fellow actor who has supposedly killed a collaborator.

Barbara is a filmmaker who has been working in the prison environment for a few years now. She is preparing a film written and directed by long-term inmates in a prison in the projects around Paris. Uncle Blackie takes offense at this and dispatches the wolf and rescues his little kinsmen. This minor setback has not diminished the wolf's appetite for lamb, so he disguises himself as Little Boy Blue and sets out once again to get a lamb-dinner.

After eating a rarebit, a man falls asleep and dreams his wife adopts a mysterious animal with an insatiable appetite. The pet eats its milk, the house cat, the house's furnishings, rat poison, and passing vehicles, including airplanes and a blimp, while growing larger and larger.
