Delphyne (meaning ‘womb’) discusses the stigma around menstruation. Addressing shame and acceptance, taboos around menstrual blood are told through a fabric-themed metaphor, and the conflict between a mother-daughter relationship; to find a shared unity and language to beat the conflict which projects itself in the shame metaphor that they’ve unwound and removed from their life. The historical connotations of staining, feminine purity and the divide between private and public space as well as ownership of the body come into play. The coming of age theme is reflected in reference to her struggle with the self (alter-ego), struggle with the ‘other’ (male influence) and struggle with the home (her Mother).

In Santiago, Andrés Barros is a partner at an up-and-coming law firm. He's getting married, and his friends, including his law partner Roberto, arrange a bachelor party where he spends the night with a prostitute, Gloria. She later shows up at his office and the passion continues, against his better judgment. Soon, Andrés is entangled in sex, lies, videotape, and blackmail. His relationship with Rosario, his fiancée, is strained, he neglects his work, and there's a dead body in a bathtub. A pimp, a whore, a doorman, a receptionist: where are the decent people?

Pardon My Clutch

The stooge's friend Claude sells them his old lemon of a car so they can take Shemp, who is sick with a toothache, camping. The car won't work and the boys are apparently out a bundle, when a car collector happens on the scene and offers to buy it at a premium. Claude backs out on the deal and gives the stooges their money back, only to discover the "collector" is an escaped lunatic.
