A doctor from Rio de Janeiro travels to spend his vacation in a small town in the South of Brazil, surrounded by legends about the disappearance of tourists. She travels by car from Moscow and also to the south, with her daughter Tanya; she suggests he join them. Aleksei tells about his life on the road.
