Henry Hidgens goes to the Starlight Theater where for the first time in over 50 years they’re going to produce their own show and they’re taking submissions. His show, Workin’ Boys, then gets the greenlight but it’s going to happen in a way which is not exactly how Hidgens envisioned. He’s trying to make the show but everything keeps getting changed on him. However, unbeknownst to Hidgens there is something nefarious going on at the Starlight Theater.

The 90-minute production also features some of the highlights from several performances filmed at the Fox Theatre in Detroit, MI, and serves as an informal retrospective on Borge's long and multifaceted entertainment career.

Lye edited together “swing” versions of the popular Lambeth Walk (including Django Reinhardt on guitar and Stephane Grapelli on violin), combining them with a particularly diverse range of direct film images, scratched as well as painted. He was particularly pleased with a final guitar solo (with a vibrating horizontal line) and double bass solo (with a stomping vertical line). For this film Lye did not have to include any advertising slogans; friends at the Tourist and Industrial Development Association, shocked to learn that Lye and his family had become destitute, arranged for TIDA to sponsor the film – to the horror of government bureaucrats who could not understand why a popular dance was being treated as a tourist attraction. - Harvard Film Archive

Five concerts were held in the two biggest cities, for an estimated audience of 120,000 spectators, on October 21 and 22 in Beijing, and on October 26 through 28 in Shanghai.
A little more than a month after original drummer Mike Portnoy's sudden departure from Dream Theater, the band held three days of auditions in New York City. Over an amazing and productive three-day period, the band played, jammed and spoke candidly with seven of the world's greatest drummers, learning about them musically, personally and professionally, and assessing the fit of each drummer's incredible chops with the band's trademark prog-rock sound.
